It only works as well as it does because the acting is fairly decent and because the stalker subplot is more tense and compelling than the main plot. For the most part a drama chronicling the illicit affair between an 18-year-old (Jay North, former Dennis the Menace) and gorgeous 28-year-old, separated woman (Angel Tompkins), but works in a subplot about deranged stalker who's obsessed with her, and how those threads eventually intersect. Bizarre how his mom almost seems to encourage the relationship: "I'm not naive, I'm trusting, " she says. Held my attention throughout, so I'm gonna say it's above average for its type. Allegedly shot in 12 days. No classroom scenes, btw - the fact that she's a teacher is mentioned in virtually one line of dialogue! Low-budget thriller about a teen boy smitten with his married next door neighbor, who also happens to be his teacher.
