Da questo film si riesce finalmente a valorizzare la bellezza di Jessica Alba la quale nello stesso anno esploderà con Honey. Degne di nota le scene di sesso tra i due protagonisti anche perché il fulcro del film si basa su quello, cioè insegnare al giovane inglese la lingua del posto per mezzo di un sistema molto particolare. Gli estimatori della sensualissima Jessica saranno accontentati mentre chi cercava un film d'avventura con bei paesaggi rimarrà deluso. Alla regia c'è l'esordiente Guy Jenkin e non c'è nessuna scena importante da segnalare. In definitiva si tratta di una pellicola che sicuramente non è da buttare ma con pochi veri motivi di essere vista se non per la bollente bomba sexy Jessica. Premetto che ho visto questo film solo x amore a Jessica Alba e, tutto sommato, questo è indubbiamente il suo miglior film (perchè gli altri dove ha recitato sono orrendi. Peccato che a una Dea come lei vengano sempre assegnati questi film rigurgitevoli). Lei è splendida più che mai, e questa è già una ragione x vedere il film, inoltre la trama e l'ambientazione le ho trovate molto interessanti.

While Elliot, formerly known as Ellen, says he's happy to come out as trans, he says he's also scared... because of the invasiveness, hate, jokes and violence that too often happen to the trans community. Elliot addresses the threats facing the trans community head-on, saying he will do everything he can to take on the "harassment, self-loathing, abuse and threat of violence every day. My heart sank cuz I thought maybe this was what everything on the tv looked like and I got suckered into a terrible budget tv. So wrong about that assumption despite it being one of my first impressions. Seems like some older movies played off of the free content can sometimes look bad. (I also played As Good As It Gets from the same featured free content and it looked good in comparison). Nothing in UHD / 4K / Dolby vision has looked less than stellar. Everything on my paid subscription services (Disney Netflix Hulu) has looked vivid and pristine. I don't have cable tv so can't comment on that. again I'm not sure if it's my tv or internet connection (maybe someone can chime in), but when using YouTube or Amazon Prime Video on this tv, I've had this experience about a third of the time: once I begin play, there is a 5-30 second buffering period where the video is super pixelated, unwatchably so, and then suddenly resolves itself for the remainder of the video. I'm not sure what causes this early short term buffering problem while the video begins play.
