Is it hypocritical for Harris to demand that other people 'speak honestly' or 'talk sensibly' about various issues while he doesn't seem to have plainly identified and criticized issues with people whom he counts as friends, associates, collaborators, etc.? Answers below please!

Harris is interested in living an ethical life, personal honesty and integrity, and trying to maintain good standards of honest public conversations, and says he is against bigotry. People like Rubin, Nawaz, and the Weinsteins are actively undermining good public discourse, while figures like Douglas Murray, Peterson, and Shapiro all have issues with being bigoted or questioning support for the rights of minority groups in society.
Let's go through some of these figures, one at a time. Dave Rubin: A transparently dishonest right-wing partisan. Has openly been saying he'll vote for Trump for a few years now. Rubin should be totally anathema to Harris's views on ethical behavior and his general worldview. Ben Shapiro: Engages in crude anti-Arab racism and Islamophobia. Extremely homophobic and transphobic: he is against gay marriage, thinks gay marriage shouldn't be taught or discussed in schools, endorsed potentially lethal violence against state authorities if churches were penalized for denying same-sex marriage or if he couldn't put his child in a school that didn't teach about gay rights, and thinks trans people are just mentally ill. Jordan Peterson: Said he wouldn't back gay marriage if it were also being endorsed by 'Cultural Marxists', out of a concern for 'traditional modes of being'. Claimed that feminists have an unconscious desire for 'brutal male domination' or 'masculine dominance'. Wondered if 'casual sex' could 'necessitate state tyranny' in order to enforce the 'missing responsibility'.
Propping up or promoting these people is aiding the degradation of public discourse, and sanitizing people with horrible views, unless these issues are directly raised and confronted. Do you think that Harris should openly criticize these figures more? It's worth pointing out here that it can't simply be a matter of Harris not publicly criticizing his friends or associates, because he did back up Yasmine Mohammed here when Eric Weinstein dared suggest that people not making sweeping generalizations about people who wear the hijab, and he did argue/debate with Sarah Haider here when Haider disagreed with Harris's idea that Liam Neeson wasn't being racist when he targeted black men hoping to physically assault them. So Harris does argue or criticize friends/associates online, so that can't be a reason here. Do you all think that Harris endorsing, promoting, or associating with these figures is harmful or a form of intellectual negligence or malpractice?
