I have a huge phobia of going to the dentist. Unfortunately, my dental health is not the best. Looking back, I see that my ADHD fucked up my dental health as a child. I always forgot to brush my teeth until it was too late and cavities were already present. I didn't really care too much about it back then because, again, not important to me so doesn't matter. My hygiene has always suffered because of my ADHD and I fucking hate it so much. I wanna punch myself in the face because of how little I shower. I have a reminder on my phone specifically for showering, and guess what? I ignore it lmao. Not important. Doesn't matter. I don't feel like. Like GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER BITCH. At least I brush my teeth twice a day now. But anyway... I hated going to the dentist. The family dentist my mom took us to was an asshole. He burned a hole in my lip one time, and when I would say I'm in pain, he'd say "We're almost done. " And ignore me.
