Hell even Chet (sir? oh you mean Chuck! ) became a familiar face in the same way Walter had been. It felt like the series was really hitting a stride in season 5. The resolution of the Michael plot line felt pretty satisfying but there was still a lot left to do. They left Pegasus to go back to Earth but the Wraith are still back there infighting and killing each other over an ever diminishing food supply that is partially tainted - it all felt so.... unsatisfying. Doing some reading it seems as though the plan at the time was to follow the SG1 footprint and do some direct to dvd movies in order to clear the path for SGU. It seems as though that never materialized which is really really unfortunate because man so many things are left undone. And before anyone says anything - yes I know that SGU apparently ends very abruptly and is even more unsatisfying. I am still going to watch it just to find out what its about. It has been described to me as 'doing to Stargate what Deep Space Nine did to Star Trek but darker' which is very very intriguing considering DS9 is my favorite iteration of Trek.
Anyway - farewell to the cast and crew of SGA. You will be sorely missed.

level 1 Yeah I miss Sophie! Deserved better than that! At least we still have Becky level 1 I also had to wait awhile until season 3 showed up on a platform I had access to. But I had completely forgotten about Sophie until this! That's right, she was a great addition, too bad not even a mention in the last season. But overall I loved this show, soo good. level 1 One of the best series ever made in imo level 1 I might have a small crush on the character/actress level 1 Yes I thought it was perfect besides that one small detail level 1 Congratulations on winning the longest topic title in this sub level 2 Congratulations on not being a very kind person

I just wish they had one little comment in for a reason she wasn't there. level 1 Shame that's it, no season 4. Loved this series. level 2 One of the best shows. This show should be as popular as The Office (seasons 1-7). level 1 The finale is so perfectly executed. Everyone gets what they want, including the viewers. It is poignant without being trite. I thought it was perfect. Loved it. level 1 Goddammit, Hulu! S3 of this show is now available, and you don't tell me about it?!? Oh, and thanks for suggesting "The Young And The Restless" for the fifth time because I supposedly like "TV News. " (That doesn't even make any sense! ) I'm glad you posted this, because I had no idea S3 was available. Gotta go, watchin' "Detectorists"!!
level 1 Seasons 3 and 4 are much better. Seasons 1 and 2 are definitely meant for kids. Most folks haven't seen past those two, but 3 and 4 are very dark, and very awesome. level 1 I think it's more for kids but I still enjoy it. level 1 Starts off a little meh.. but picks up. Ashoka is a little annoying at first, every JarJar episode is horrible, but the rest makes up for it. It's pretty awesome. The progressing story of the Troopers is awesome as well. level 1 It's pretty awesome when muted. level 1 I think the series eventually gets kinda dark. With slaves, mass murder and suicides, i think more than just kids can enjoy. level 1 It gets better as it goes on. Seasons 1 and 2 are more campy and focuses on Asoka and such. But later on, especially season 4 it gets way better, show clones point of view, and the direction is refocused towards an older audience. level 1 the initial CGI movie was so bad / such a turn off that i never bothered to watch the tv show after that. watch the cartoon network clone wars cartoon series from 2003 - 2005 instead.

level 2 Well, you're not really in a position to give advice, are you? Watch the series. It gets really brutal later in the series, and is still enjoyable early on. level 1 Well given the choice of the series or phantom menace, Id choose this any day. There are 3 seasons for this one, decent watch. Then theres Which was another version of the clone wars. level 2 I've been looking for these! Thank you for the link!
